The International Virtual Assistants Association, IVAA, held its third annual conference on October 20-22, 2004 at the Marriott Chicago Downtown in Chicago, IL. This event brought together nationally-respected speakers and workshop leaders from all across the United States to deliver a most informational and inspirational program.

Ms. Jacqueline Parachu, President and Owner of Jacqueline's Virtual Office, was the only person with a disability at the conference. She started to participate by asking questions, and also gave a speech, with the use of her communication device, about her Florida business. Conference attendees were inspired by her will to be a part of the workforce and of society.

As a Virtual Assistant and a member of the IVAA, Ms. Parachu said, "The Virtual Assistant conference was a very enlightening experience for me. I learned some tricks of the trade which will help me now and in the future."
